Sometimes we eat pizza

I lived this weekend. I logged off, and I adventured, and I have no regrets. Not only that, but I also ordered pizza for the entire household today, and it was worth it. Is my life today how I imagined it would be six years ago? No, absolutely not. Is it better? 100% yes.
Every misstep, adventure and plot twist while not always enjoyable has led me to the place I am at today. I have my struggles and bad days like anyone else. However, I am surrounded by good people with the best of intentions. I am living life unapologetically as an authentic version of myself.
This week, I have to kick back into high gear and continue on my physical health journey. Ever since my little stroke adventure, I have been taking it easy on my self, and rightfully so. But now is the time to get back on that horse and shed these pounds.
The break has been nice, but it does not further my progress to a better, healthier self. I have however started reading my next book, and it has been amazing so far. Mental health progress is just as important as physical fitness, and truthfully they are symbiotic. They support each other in the most beautiful way.
Jeff and I had a conversation today about breathing new life into The Neoteric Man and revamping that vision. He and I both enjoy sharing the good word about mental health and participating in it any way we can. We have thrown around the word podcast, and truthfully I am excited. It has been short and sweet but this is my update for the week. Bishop:(:
